Renaissance Artists: Amedeo Modigliani and Sandro Botticelli
Modigliani was a penniless avant-garde modern painter and sculptor who shunned tradition and created timeless masterpieces in a short few years. Botticelli was a traditional Florentine painter of the late 15th century who was overtly religious and conflicted about his true artistic calling. What is the connection between these two Italian masters of art? How do their works compare and what was the genius in both?
